About Musidal Islamic Association Masjid

The objects for which the Association is established are generally for the inclusion of our members into mainstream society by breaking their isolation and feeling of irrelevance and bringing them together to enable them to celebrate their cultures, tradition, religion and receive the appropriate information, advice and referrals and help improve their children’s education and self-esteem.

In furtherance of the above objects, but not otherwise, the Association shall have powers to:

a) Organise social, cultural and religious activities including those related to birth, marriage, death and other spiritual and cultural needs of users.

b) Establish and maintain a Community Centre and organise and promote education at various levels.

c) Promote the opportunity for the study of languages and the mother tongues through classes, lectures, training and cultural events.

d)    Promote charitable activities such as relief for the distressed and the poor.

e) Organise the provision of the hostel and other accommodation.

f)     Raise funds, through contributions, levies donations, and subscriptions for the said objects and endeavor to impose on or procure to be observed by its members or others, any regulation, restriction or condition which would make the Association united and compliant.

g)    Acquire property and, subject to any consents required by law, to dispose of such property.

h)    Establish branches all over the United Kingdom.

i)      Co-operate with other organisations with similar aims and objectives at local, national and international levels.

j)      Employ competent staff and promote all other lawful activities in order to accomplish the tasks set by the Association.
